Ultrasound or ultrasound was performed if the urine or blood tests do not provide definitive results. For example, in disorders that make the hormone hCG levels are not easily measured. However, ultrasound examination was performed in certain cases only. This test is usually done at least 10 days after the missed period.
Ultrasound examination is a safe procedure. Ultrasound uses reflected sound waves into the body height to show the uterus and its contents in the form of a picture called a sonogram, which you can see on the screen. Ultrasound does not use radiation, syringes, fluids or drugs are incorporated into the body. Ultrasound has been used for years and no incidents to suggest that ultrasound causes disturbances in the mother or baby. However, ultrasound is recommended only for health or medical purposes only.
